Our brand indigo measures 4.47:1 on white — do we have to change the brand?

Asked 1,490 views2 answers

Audit finding we cannot argue our way out of. The brand colour is an indigo that measures 4.47:1 against white, which is under the line by a hair, and it is used for links, for small labels, and as the fill behind white text on the landing page call to action.

Design's position is that the colour is the brand and everything else is negotiable. Before I go back into that meeting: is this actually one finding or several, and is there a version of the fix that does not repaint the company?
