Installed with brew and there is no SDODS in my Applications folder

I wanted the desktop app and installed with brew because that is how I install everything:

bash

brew install yarlisaisolutions/sdods/sdods

It succeeded, and sdods --version works, but there is nothing in Applications and no window anywhere. Did the cask not get installed, or is the app somewhere unusual?

Nothing went wrong — the formula installs the CLI and there is no cask. sdods --version working is the install succeeding, not a partial one.
For the desktop app on macOS, take the installer from the download page.
If what you actually wanted was a UI rather than the packaged app, the CLI already has one and you have it installed:
bash
```
sdods serve
```
That is the same web UI the app wraps, in your browser, against the projects in the directory you started it from.

The channel table in the docs marks what each one installs, which is worth a glance before picking one — the CLI, the server image and the desktop app are three different things and every manager only carries one of them.
